Katherine leaned her forehead against the cold glass of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. It had been closed since an hour ago. The twins were upstairs playing 3-way Wizard's Chess. They had suggested 4-way, but Katherine needed to be alone for a while.
She couldn't keep recent events out of her head. She was so scared. She still had marks from that night. The night when she was raped by Lucius Malfoy.
She blamed herself. Thoughts-agonizing thoughts-kept going through her head. Why didn't I fight harder? and I should've gone to bed before he could do anything.
Her hands were resting limply at her sides. She could feel a tear fall down her cheek. She couldn't take it. Her virginity was stolen from her. No one's gonna want me, she thought to herself.
Katherine almost jumped when she felt a warm hand take her's from behind. A body was pressed to her's from behind. She could feel warm breath on her neck.
"Kat..." It was Fred. She could just tell by the smallest difference between his and George's voices. "Please...tell me what's wrong. What's been bothering you lately?" He pleaded for an answer.
Katherine turned around and leaned against the large window that was now behind her. She took a shaky breath. "You're not going to want to hear it," she said.
Fred shook his head. "I want to know," he said, using his finger to tilt her head up. He looked at her in a way he never did before. There was a silent plead in his eyes. Accompanied by...love? It looked like it. It made Katherine's heart race. She really did like him.
"Fine," she said. Then she began to hesitantly explain. She told Fred everything that had happened and how she felt about it. Fred listened. The look on his face was a mixture of sadness, pity, and anger.
Once Katherine was finished, Fred sighed and put a hand on her shoulder.
"You really think no one will ever want you?" he asked. His voice sounded hurt. When Katherine nodded, Fred pulled her close and held her gently. He carressed her head. "I still want you. I wouldn't take you any other way," he almost whispered.
Katherine's heart ached with so many pent up emotions. She felt her shoulders shaking as she fought sobs. She couldn't stop the tears from falling.
Fred once again lifted Katherine's chin to make her look at him. Except this time, he didn't say anything. This time, he kissed Katherine. Almost instantly, Katherine felt happier. Something about Fred being so close made her feel carefree. She placed her hands on Fred's shoulders, beginning to kiss back.
All of a sudden, the two of them heard overdramatic gasps. They both blushed and broke apart. They saw Des and George and scowled.
"They have finally gotten together!" Des said breathily, acting as if she would faint. George lightly punched both Fred and Katherine on their arms. "I never thought I'd live to see the day!" George said with sarcastic incredulity. They could make a joke out of anything.
All of them broke into giggles and they went upstairs. The night ended in a marshmallow war over hot chocolate.

My OC Katherine Lyra Black/Riddle
Ok so this is my first blog EVER so I'm just gonna take a shot at this. My character for Harry Potter is Katherine Lyra Riddle. I actually have multiples but this is my most commonly used one. She was born of Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange. She was almost killed because she wasn't a boy like Voldemort wanted. She is a metamorphmagus and animagus. She was brought up by the Malfoys because she was just one years old when her father disappeared and her mother went to jail when she was about two years old. She found out who her parents were when she was about eight years old. She hated her father more than her mother but didn't fancy her mother's husaband any more than her father. So she decided to go with the last name of Black, which was Bellatrix's maiden name. When Voldemort came back to power, Katherine stayed with the Malfoys but as far away from Voldemort as possible. Then, when the mass breakout happened in her fifth year, she found out her mother, Bellatrix, was staying with the Malfoys. She didn't really hate her mother so she didn't have a problem with it.
Back to her first year, she was placed into Gryffindor. Everybody knew who her family was so it raised confusion. Katherine tried to ignore it. She made friends with Fred, George, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Seamus, Parvati, Padma, and Ginny once she got to Hogwarts the next year. Everbody nicknamed her Kat. Except the Weasley twins who called her KittyKat because she had a little white kitten (named Chakra). When the Chamber of Secrets was opened in her second year, some people thought she was the heir (or heiress) of Slytherin. This was obviously proven wrong (well, half wrong, considering her father was the heir). In her third year, she felt like she was falling in love with her own cousin, Draco Malfoy. He was starting to like her too. They found it impossible because they were cousins. It was incest. So they actually went to Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy and got the excuse "inter-marraige to protect their pure blood". This wasn't only strange that they were cousins but also because Draco was a Slytherin and Katherine a Gryffindor.
In Katherine's fourth year, she had become good friends with Cedric Diggory. She helped Fred and George with a lot of their sceming for years by then, so she decided to help them with their aging potion. She, however, didn't drink a portion. She didn't want to be in the Triwizard Tournament. Only less than a month before the Yule Ball she and Draco broke up. Draco ended up taking Pansy Parkinson to the Yule Ball. Katherine was upset that she would be dateless. But then Fred (instead of asking Angelina) asked Katherine to the Yule Ball. She was so happy because she was beginning to get feelings for him. So she had a great time and didn't think of Draco at all at the ball (except once at the very beginning when he was dancing with Pansy. She got pissed but the twins calmed her down with laughter). She ended up staying with Fred.
In the summer before her fifth year, she stayed at number 12 Grimmauld Place with the Order of the Phoenix. She mainly spent time with Fred and George but she also became close with Sirius. They were related after all. Then at school, she of course kept up antics with Fred and George. She got detention more than usual because of Professor Umbridge. She still kept her grades up somehow. When Dumbledore's Army was established, she joined immediately. She absolutely LOVED it there. She found it really hard when the twins left. But she managed to keep her relationship with Fred alive. She went to the Ministry of Magic with the others. When Sirius died she stopped what she was doing and just froze up. She shed a few tears but couldn't do anything else. She took it pretty hard in the end.
In the summer before her sixth year, Katherine worked at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Then she went back off to Hogwarts. She was part of the Slug club (ohgod). She didn't approve of Lavendar and Ron. Katherine always thought Ron and Hermione should be together. She had been forced to become a death eater and hated it. She was to aid Draco in the task of killing Dumbledore. She felt so horrible. After Professor Snape killed Dumbledore, she stayed at Hogwarts and mourned with the school instead of leaving with the Death eaters.
The summer before Katherine's seventh year, she and Fred were alone. Katherine never felt happier when Fred went down on one knee and propsed to her. They celebrated with the Weasleys right before celebrating Harry's birthday, and then Bill and Fleur's wedding. In Katherine's seventh year at Hogwarts, she was hardly ever at the school. She spent most of her seventh year escaping Malfoy manor and being captured and punished repeatedly. Whenever she escaped, she did her best to get to the Weasley twins. At the final battle, she was fighting on Hogwarts' side. She went after Draco in the Room of Requirement to stop him from going after Harry. When it was set on fire, she was saved along with Draco. When she got to Fred, she fought beside him. He died protecting her from a curse. Katherine immediately bound the death eater that killed Fred and killed him (without the Unforgivable curses). When everybody was given a break by Voldemort she was there, crying over Fred. She had felt like everything was coming down. When Voldemort later addressed everybody and asked for them to follow him, she openly defied him. Once Bellatrix died, Katherine felt a tiny bit sad but not by much. She celebrated Voldemort's death with everybody else. But once the celebration was over, she went back to mourning over Fred.
She didn't know what to do. She never even took the engagement ring off. Then, a week later, something spectacular happened! (I'm using someone else's fanfic for this. If that person reads this and doesn't want me to use it just message me or whatever you do on blogspot and tell me and I'll put a stop to it). George and Charlie had disappeared for a few days and...Fred was there! Right before his own funeral! George and Charlie explained that they went back in time and replaced the real Fred with a Transfigured death eater and got Fred out of there. Katherine was overjoyed. She was possibly the most happy (besides his family) that Fred was alive again. And they literally changed everything up from a funeral to a wedding for Fred and Katherine. BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENS FOR MY OC!
